Hair loss associated with thyroid disorders results from hormonal imbalance, as thyroid hormones are crucial for metabolic regulation and thus influence the hair growth cycle.

Both hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) and hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) can adversely affect hair health, causing excessive hair shedding. In such cases, alopecia is typically diffuse—spread evenly across the scalp. The hair becomes weaker, drier, thinner, and more prone to breakage. In autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, alopecia areata may also occur—marked by clearly defined circular patches of hair loss.

 

TREATMENT PROTOCOL

• PEELING

1.3 Dixidox de Luxe Peeling (200ML | 500ML): Apply to dry or damp scalp and massage. Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use once a week.

• SHAMPOO

3.1 Dixidox de Luxe Intense Shampoo (200ML | 500ML)

4.1 Dixidox de Luxe Keratin Treatment Shampoo (500ML): Apply to the hair, massage gently until lathered. Leave on for a few minutes, then rinse. Alternating use of the shampoos is recommended.

• LOTION

3.4.1 Crexepil de Luxe Forte Lotion: Apply 1/3 of the ampoule contents to dry or damp scalp, preferably in the evening. Massage and do not rinse. Use daily for a period of three months.

Continue treatment with:

3.4.3A Fresh Cells de Luxe Wondercell Lotion: Apply 2 to 3 pipettes of the product daily, preferably in the evening. The minimum recommended duration is three months.

4.3 Dixidox de Luxe Keratin Treatment Mask: Apply to scalp and hair, gently massage, and comb through several times. Leave on for 5 to 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

To strengthen hair and increase thickness:

4.5 Dixidox de Luxe Keratin Treatment Serum: Apply a small amount of serum (hazelnut-sized) to damp hair and distribute using fingers or a brush. Do not rinse. Use regularly for best results. It can also be applied to dry scalp to restore physiological balance.

3.4.4 Capixyl™ + Placenta Shock de Luxe Lotion: Apply 2 ml of the lotion to dry or damp scalp. Distribute gently with massage. Do not rinse. Use daily.
